My darling girl, my precious one

Whose heart shines bright like the sun

She fought through sickness, fought through fear, Her body weakened by hypotension's hold. Yet she stood strong, persevered, For her precious child, so young and bold. A quadriplegic for 48 days, She faced her greatest trial yet. Her love for her child, a burning blaze, She refused to let it die or fret. Through two cancers, she did not sway, Her will to live and love so strong. And with each step, each day by day, Her spirit grew and thrived along. It’s no secret that being a working mother is one of the most challenging jobs in the world.
