Laughs_ if only you knew.

Watch me and I will make you Laugh, You chuckle the way, the way I act; You see me happy , I will tell you why, 'cuz I had been making happy the other guy. Instead of worrying about my self, I try to cheer up someone else; I give the happiness that runs for me, I share the smiles that were meant for me. Though my days are often tough, And at times, the road is rough; I find solace in their glee, Their laughter brings the light to me. I wear a smile, no matter what, Through joy or sorrow, tight or fraught; For in the joy I give away, I find a brighter, better day. So watch me as I lift you high, With jokes and jests that reach the sky; In making others' spirits rise, I too, am lifted to the skies.

Battling Chronic Illness: A Parent's Story

I'll never forget the day my doctor told me I had a chronic illness. It was like all the air had been sucked out of the room and I could hardly breathe. As a parent, I could barely process what this meant for me, let alone how it would impact my family. But I quickly learned that parenting with a chronic illness is its own unique battle. It can be incredibly difficult to parent while managing daily life with a chronic illness. On some days, just getting out of bed and getting dressed is a major accomplishment. There's no time or energy left for cuddles and playtime with the kids, which can leave every family member feeling frustrated and exhausted. Managing medications, doctor’s appointments, and finding time to rest all while caring for children seems impossible at times. It's important to ask for help when needed — from family members, friends, or even your child’s school — so that you don't feel overwhelmed or guilty about not being able to do it all on your own. On top of that, there's an added layer of guilt that comes with being away from your children for most of the day. This feeling only gets worse when you're running late or are unable to make school events or other important activities due to your job commitments. It's a lot of pressure!  Finding My B...
